Galactic News: AMC Hosting 27 Hour Star Wars Marathon for The Rise of Skywalker

You have general fans. But then you have fans that will go to any length for their favorite science fiction/fantasy saga. And AMC is prepping something amazing for those die hard Star Wars fanatics. With the internet still at galactic war over The Last Jedi, it looks like the theater chain has something in store for those of us that are hanging in there for the final entry in the Skywalker journey. They announced today that they'll be holding a special Star Wars marathon that will last 27 hours and 21 minutes total, capping it off with The Rise of Skywalker. Fans will have a chance to experience all the episodic movies in one fell swoop as AMC takes up the challenge of hosting mega fans in their theaters for more than 24 hours.

Interestingly enough, they'll also start showing The Rise of Skywalker at 5pm local time, which will be an hour prior to its release everywhere else. Along with the price of admission, they'll be giving out a commemorative pin, blanket, and special concession offers. I might be there for this. After all, I am a Jedi.
