Galactic News: Lawrence Kasdan Says The Studio 'Blew it' With Solo, Won't Be Returning

It's been a year and people are still talking about the financial failures of the Star Wars Story called Solo. From on set problems to the total dismissal of its directors, the one off prequel about Han Solo and Chewbacca's meeting was much better than it should have been but still seems to have a massive crowd of naysayers that think the movie was another mistake by Disney and Lucasfilm. SyFy Wire is reporting that Lawrence Kasdan is still totally miffed over the treatment of the Solo movie and has no interest in ever returning to that galaxy ever again.

Apparently he was asked to work on upcoming projects for the company. When discussing his potential return to make more Star Wars projects he briefly responded:

"It's been very good to me, but I don't want to do it anymore."

Kasdan continued:

"The studio blew it, but that's not unusual."

The studio persisted in sending him potential scripts for projects:

"Don’t think for a second I don’t know how lucky I am that they’re sending a Star Wars script to my door and I can say, ‘No, I won’t accept it.’ You have to be in a very privileged situation to do that, and I don’t ever take that for granted.”

Either way, it sounds like Kasdan has had his share of dialogue with the heads of Star Wars, and he won't be coming back.
