Fear is The Mind Killer: Dune to Become A Graphic Novel

As the new decade begins, fans of Frank Herbert's sci-fi classic Dune have a lot to look forward to. With a new movie adaptation from acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve and Dune: The Sisterhood, a streaming series on HBOMax, both coming soon, a new wave of excitement is starting to drum up for the series. Riding that wave is a new graphic novel adaptation of the novel set to release in the lead up to the new film.

The graphic novel will be written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson who have worked on all of the modern day takes on Dune for the past couple of decades. It will be illustrated by Raúl Allén and Patricia Martín, with covers by Bill Sienkiewicz (New Mutants). The graphic novel will divide the story into three parts with the first part being released this October.

We here at The Movie Sleuth are big fans of Dune and we can't wait to see the new movie and this graphic novel.  Some of you are skeptical or fearful of this new adaptation but you must remember that fear is the mind killer and that you will have to face it.
