By now we all know that no stone will be left unturned in the Star Wars galaxy. Every bit of back story must be revealed in an effort to bank on every single character we've ever been introduced to. Now, it looks as if Poe Dameron's adventures before The Force Awakens will be chronicled in a new novel from author Alex Segura. The story will also fill in the blanks about his relationship with hot shot pilot Zorii Bliss. The first in a new trilogy of books will be called Poe Dameron: Free Fall and will tell of his early years as a pilot and will give us tons of character development for Poe. Here's a brief description below:
It’s been a few years since Poe’s mother, who was a pilot for the Rebellion, passed away, and Poe and his father have had more and more trouble connecting. Not sure what he wants to do with his life, teenage Poe runs away from home to find adventure, and to figure out what kind of man he is meant to be.
Although some of the comics have told of Poe's mother's experience as a Rebellion pilot, the new book will definitely add more to the mythology of of one of the latest trilogy's heroes.
Star Wars Poe Dameron: Free Fall will be released to store shelves on August 4th, 2020.
