Decades later, we're finally getting the long gestating sequel to the classic '80s flick Top Gun. Initially scheduled years ago under the watchful directorial eye of Tony Scott, the project was shelved numerous times to meet Tom Cruise's extremely busy schedule. Now, the film is in its final moments prior to its release. Early teasers and trailers look like they're doing a phenomenal job matching up the cinematic aesthetic of the original movie. Unfortunately, only a few cast members are returning with someone else playing the role of Meg Ryan's character.
