As COVID-19 keeps us indoors, we are going to need all the opportunities to be entertained that we can get. We all need something to watch. Thankfully, Blue Underground has you covered with a 4K UHD Blu-Ray release of two horror classics, Maniac and Zombie. Both of these films will be mastered with Dolby Vision High Dynamic Range and new Dolby Atmos audio mixes. You won't want to miss either of these upcoming releases.

Directed by William Lustig and featuring some incredible special effects work from Tom Savini, Maniac is the story of a deeply disturbed man who is haunted by his traumatic childhood. Overwhelmed by the memories, he prowls the streets of New York, terrorizing young women. The film was controversial, even banned in several countries due to the film's relentless and shocking violence.

The three disc 4K set for Maniac comes loaded with all kinds of special features for fans of the movie including two new commentaries from director William Lustig, interviews with the cast and crew of the film including Tom Savini and Carolyn Munroe, outtakes from the film, trailers and radio ads, and supplemental material about the publicity and controversies associated with the film. Sure to be a must have for horror fans.

In Italy, it was considered the 'unofficial sequel' to DAWN OF THE DEAD. In England, it was known as ZOMBIE FLESH EATERS and banned. In America, it was called Zombie, a splatter horror sensation directed by Lucio Fulci that remains one of the most graphic horror hits of all time! Strangers searching for a young woman's missing father arrive at a tropical island where a doctor desperately seeks the cause and cure of a recent epidemic of the undead.

In this three disc set, Blue Underground has gone all out to give Fulci and Zombie fans the release they deserve. The set features an introduction for the film by Guillermo del Toro, two commentaries featuring cast and crew members, trailers, TV and radio spots, posters and still galleries, and several supplementary materials about the making, music, and effects of the film. These discs are filled to the brim with all you would want to know and more about this films.
