Fear is the Mind Killer: Boom! Studios to Release Dune: House Atreides Comic

As the new decade continues, fans of Frank Herbert's Dune have a lot to look forward to. With a new movie adaptation from acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve, Dune: The Sisterhood, a streaming series on HBOMax, and a graphic novel adaptation all coming soon, a new wave of excitement is starting to drum up for the series. Riding that wave is a graphic novel adaptation of the prequel to the original story, Dune: House Atreides.

Dune: House Atreides is set to be a twelve issue adaptation of the 1999 novel by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. Herbert and Anderson are returning to script the series and there is no word yet on who the artists for it will be. The series will launch later this year.

Dune: House Atreides is set three decades before the events of the original book. It will tell the stories of Duncan Idaho, Baron Harkonnen, the Atreides family, and more. We can't wait to see what Boom! Studios does with this and their adaptation of Dune!
