Star Wars fans are about to get another dose of awesomeness next week! The new game show, Jedi Temple Challenge will be premiering on June 3rd on StarWarsKids.com and the associated YouTube channel. The new series that's hosted by Jar Jar Binks actor Ahmed Best will launch with two episodes. The ten episode series will test players' knowledge, skills, and talents with a set of challenges that will define their viability as a Padawan candidate. Players will be put through a series of games that prepare them for the possibility of becoming a Jedi Knight.
Assisting Best will be a protocal droid named AD-3 played by Mary Holland. Fan favorite Sam Witwer will also be returning in a dark side role.
Mickey Capoferri, Lucasfilm's senior director of online content programming and programming had this to say about the show:
“With so many children and families home and looking to Star Wars for hope and entertainment, we wanted to make Jedi Temple Challenge available to as many young fans as possible by airing the series on our Star Wars Kids network for everyone to enjoy.”
