The DC film universe has seen its share of ups and downs. With their character-centric films like Wonder Woman, Shazam, and Aquaman all being super box office hits for the studio their team ups have all faltered in their cinematic releases. But it looks like the team at WB is trying to fix a lot of the problems they've had in the past. With the Snyder Cut of Justice League coming to HBO Max and the next Suicide Squad getting a creative reprieve under the guidance of James Gunn, the DC film world might finally get the justice it deserves. Now, it's been announced that they'll be holding their very own online convention of sorts this August with numerous film and project announcements expected to come with the territory.

Normally, their slate of movies would be announced during San Diego Comic-Con. But with the coronavirus in full swing, the event has been cancelled. Now, DC and WB have taken it upon themselves to license their own con that will arrive in August 2020 and will run for a full 24 hours in the digital format. The event is set to premiere on August 22 at 10:00 am PST.

So, what will we find out about. Is the rumored Ben Affleck Batman, Jared Leto Joker movie really heading to HBO MAX? Well, we'll find out soon, won't we? It will be available at DCFanDome.com.
