Horror Rebooted: V/H/S Series To Receive the Reboot Treatment

It's been six years since the anthology series V/H/S died with little fanfare. After two decent films, the third movie called Viral was a complete critical failure for the folks behind the series. Now, word has broken that the Bloody Disgusting produced series will get a dose of new lifeblood. Up next for the series is a reboot of sorts that will be called V/H/S 94. The movie is said to hit the rewind button for the franchise and will restart it with a brand new set of chapters that for once will be connected by one continued narrative that keeps them all centered. While we're not sure why it's being called a reboot, it sounds interesting that they're trying to bring something new to the series that launched the horror flick, Siren.

With the announcement of the next movie comes word that David Bruckner will be returning to a producer role. The collective Radio Silence who worked on Ready or Not will also be involved creatively in the project. Simon Barrett, Timo Tjahjanto, and newcomer Chloe Okuno will also be helming segments in this latest iteration of V/H/S.

We have no official release date for the project as of yet. But we're hoping they can get back to the roots of the series and deliver us some blood curdling horror once it gets rolling.
