It's that time again where we finally have a piece of news that isn't about something getting delayed by the Covid-19 crisis. While everything else is slowly starting to reopen, studios are developing and looking into whatever they can make when things get back to normal again. Yep, these stories will keep happening as the world tries to return to normal. This time, it's about the status of The Mandalorian season 2.

During a virtual panel for the ATX Television Festival, series show runner Jon Favreau gave an update on the status of season 2 and when we will get to see it. Favreau confirmed that principal photography on the series had wrapped before everything shut down and that the post production work has been happening remotely ever since. He described this process as moving relatively smoothly and confirmed that it should be ready for an October debut.

Favreau did not talk about the new or fan favorite characters that have been rumored to appear in the second season. He did say that he hopes fans will have as much fun watching it as they have had making it. We can't wait to see what they do next.
