Not all news is bad today as steelbook collectors will have something shiny and new to buy come late September. That's right. George Miller's epic adventure masterpiece is getting a new home video release in the form of a 4K steelbook release from Warner Bros.. The much loved action flick was a return to the world of Max Rockatansky and finally saw Miller revitalize his long dormant series that originally starred Mel Gibson in the lead role. In Fury Road, Tom Hardy took over as the road weary former cop from down under that's roaming the desert wasteland doing battle with anyone that he crosses paths with. The film also starred Charlize Theron as Furiosa, whose leading a small group of enslaved women to freedom. The movie was a massive box office success and is said to be getting a follow up in the form of a prequel very soon.
In the meantime, the movie is getting a brand new collectible steelbook that will be exclusive to Best Buy. While no real details have been released about the transfer or any new special features, you can check out an image of the edition below!
