Elizabeth Moss continues to expand on her amazing career with more and more roles. Today it was announced that the actress will be starring in a new limited series where she will play the real life killer Candy Montgomery. While the series has no outlet yet, it appears that they're shopping it around with the hopes that a major streamer like Hulu will pick it up. Obviously, Moss has starred in The Handmaid's Tale, Mad Men, and this year's sleeper horror hit The Invisible Man. The project is going to be produced by Universal Content Productions and will be helmed by Robin Veith and Nick Antosca, who both have previously worked on the Hulu project, The Act.

When asked about the project, Moss had this to say when speaking with The Wrap:

“I have been wanting to play an anti-heroine for a while now. And have been trying to work with Robin again after ‘Mad Men’ for even longer, so when she asked me if I wanted to play a housewife from Texas who, some would say, got away with murder, I simply said, ‘Where do I sign?’ Adding the opportunity to work with Nick after his incredible work on ‘The Act’ was like taking a delicious dessert and putting 100 cherries on top. My producing partner Lindsey and I are so thrilled to be partnering with them and Alex and Scott and everyone at UCP on a show that I believe is truly going to be like no other we’ve done and will be a role like none I’ve ever played.”

The real life story of Candy Montgomery is an interesting one. The church going murderer killed her best friend in 1980's Texas.
