Law and Order is one of those series that continues to spawn new versions all the time. We can't even count how many iterations there have been. When the character of Elliot Stabler left SVU years ago, fans were not very happy. But it was just time for a change. After 12 years on the series, he semi retired the character. But now, with a new Law and Order premiering that will star Christopher Meloni returning as the famed Stabler character in a brand new series about the NYPD organized crime unit, his former partner Mariska Hargitay has taken to Instagram to tease their potential reunion.
With the newest series heading back to New York, the possibilities are endless that we might see a return to form for their partnership or at least a callback to the greatness of the show's earlier years.
