Blood Audit: The Tax Collector Rules The Box Office

It's that time again where we finally have a piece of news that isn't about something getting delayed by the Covid-19 crisis. While everything else is slowly starting to reopen, studios are developing and looking into whatever they can make when things get back to normal again. Yep, these stories will keep happening as the world tries to return to normal. Right now, we are looking at the weekend box office.

This weekend, David Ayer's The Tax Collector was number one at the box office, grossing 317,000 dollars at 129 theaters nationwide. It also netted an additional million dollars on VOD and is currently on top of the iTunes charts.  Second and third place at the national box office were taken by the re-issues of Empire Strikes Back and Jurassic Park.

The Tax Collector has split critics and audiences down the middle critically. In our review, we called it a full circle return to his roots. Others have called it the worst movie of the year. Have you checked out The Tax Collector yet? What did you think? Let us know in the comments!
