Ready Player Two: Wil Wheaton Will Narrate Audio Book

The highly awaited sequel to Ernest Cline's Ready Player One is only a couple months away now. And fans can get excited for the audio book format because Star Trek: The Next Generation alumni Wil Wheaton has signed on to narrate the project. The Hollywood Reporter posted today that the actor will be voicing the audio for the upcoming release which will be his third turn at bat working on a Cline recording. He previously lent his voice to the science fiction audio novel, Armada which was released back in 2015 and the audio version of Ready Player One. The book will hit the audio platform on November 24th.

The original Ready Player One was a massive success and ended up spawning the live action film by Steven Spielberg. Although the movie had its naysayers, it was a massive financial success for the studio. There is no word on a movie sequel at this time but we're sure there will be talks if the new novel does as well as we'd suspect.

Wil Wheaton has his own loyal group of followers based on his time on Star Trek and his constant connection to all things nerdy.
