Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Spin Off Star Says It's A Different Kind of Action Film

Henry Golding, lead player of the upcoming G.I. Joe one off movie Snake Eyes has taken to Twitter to state his excitement for the film. The previous star of hit films like Crazy Rich Asians says he's seen a cut of Snake Eyes and that the movie will definitely do something different for the big brand action genre. Initially slated for a October 2020 release, it's now been pushed to 2021 due to the pandemic. However, Golding is not swayed by the negativity related to the crisis. He appears to be extremely proud of what they've done with Snake Eyes as he's posted to his Twitter account:

“Just saw Snake Eyes… Holy hell. This is the exact opposite of the cookie cutter, super people movies. Wow. You guys are in for something insane, I can’t wait for you all to get your mits on this beast. Yowzers!!!! Literally grinning from ear to ear.”

Paramount has planned a series of movies based on the Hasbro brand after this one becomes a hit for the studio.

The spin off is the first live action G.I. Joe movie since the hampered Retaliation back in 2013. The new movie will center on Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Hardmaster, Scarlett, and Baroness. The film is directed by Robert Schwentke (RED, R.I.P.D.).
