What a year it's been so far. With COVID-19 still shutting down productions all over the world as cast and crew members get the dreaded virus, other shows and movies are ramping up and beginning to film. The latest show to go back into production is The CW's Batwoman series. After Ruby Rose left the show due to personal reasons, the title character has been recast and is apparently heading back to shoot under drastic safety precautions. Although season one was only a minor hit for the outlet, the show is still going strong as it has a new actor taking up the cape and cowl for the series.

Javicia Leslie will become Batwoman in the second season of the show. There are few details known at this point about how they'll make the transition, but we imagine they'd have to get pretty creative with writing out the main star and replacing her with a brand new lead actor.

Today, two of the show's stars posted a video to social media celebrating their return to set. Hopefully they can continue onward and not fall victim to coronavirus. Just yesterday it was reported that Robert Pattinson tested positive as Matt Reeves' The Batman is shut down again. Nicole Kang and Camrus Johnson posted this BTS video to Twitter.
