Mother/Android: Chloe Grace Moretz Joins Science Fiction Project



Today has turned out to be a pretty good day for science fiction fans. With the stunning premiere of Ridley Scott's Raised By Wolves hitting HBO Max last night, audiences are readying themselves for an amazing few months of sci-fi. And with the trailer for Dune coming soon, we are absolutely consumed by the positive momentum the genre has made this year. Now, news has broke that says Chloe Grace Moretz will star in a new movie from Project Power and The Batman scribe Mattson Tomlin. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Moretz will star in Tomlin's first directorial effort with Reeves' production banner providing support for the feature. 

The movie, Mother/Android is said to be about a couple that's on the run from their country that's at war with artificial intelligence. Days before their first child is born, they must face their own mortality in a no man's land where the android's have set up their stronghold. Moretz will be the lead character Georgia who sets off with her partner Sam, who is yet to be cast. 


The feature is set to be released by Miramax with no official release date announced quite yet.
