Elvira to Leatherface: Mezco Con Fall 2020 Reveals Cover All The Bases

Mezco Con 2020 is a two and a half day event of reveals, giveaways, and contests. These October reveals are horror and supernatural related, ranging from cute to frighteningly accurate!

Day One showed off a Mezco Designer Series Mega Halloween II figure of Michael Myers. Displaying  a 15 inch body with over-sized head and cloth coveralls, this Michael Myers also comes with a kitchen knife and a sound chip, though it hasn't been revealed what sound it would make... his theme perhaps? Next up was the Living Dead Doll Elvira, Mistress of the Dark figure. In that iconic LDD style, Elvira has her classic outfit and beehive hairdo, with a small dagger. Now the most frightening of the reveals from Day One has to be the One:12 Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre! This hulking killer looks amazingly accurate to his film appearance, with hammer and chainsaw as the only shown accessories. Mezco shows even more of Leatherface standing in the kitchen doorway and recreating the original movie poster so much so that you'd have to check the details to see it was an action figure!

Day Two brought out another triple feature with an 18 inch roto plush Ghost Face from the Scream series. You may want to remove the hunting knife from Ghost Face's hand before you start cuddling with it but rest assured, it's adorable! In the realm of statues, a CAD model of Mezco's Static-6: Predator was shown. Omitting cloth and netting in this reveal, the statue has the titular alien in a dynamic stride, hold a skull and spine with an optional swap-out arm with blades. His head can be masked or unmasked, noting interchangeable parts to create multiple display options. Lastly, we get another One:12 figure, this time in the form of Dr. Fate! DC Comics go-to hero for magic and sorcery brings that blue and gold to the fore with what seems to be LED eyes and Amulet of Anubis! A translucent ankh, open spell book, and interchangeable hands seem to be included for this figure as well.

If the cash in your wallet had lived very, very long lives, they could not have expected nor would they have wished to see as much of the mad and macabre as they were to see at this Mezco Con.
