To Kill Again: Dexter Revival Director and Plot Details Released

Just a few weeks ago it was announced that Dexter would make a return in a new limited run event series that would continue his story after the events of the disappointing finale. Fans have held out hope that the character would eventually get a better send off and the creators are finally delivering. The revival will be a ten episode arc that will see Dexter return to his killing ways and will hopefully (maybe) give some new life to his story. Today it's been announced that Marcos Siega has been tapped to helm the project. He previously worked on the original run of the show and directed nine episodes. Siega will be taking care of directorial duties on the majority of the ten chapters. He has been tapped to take up six of episodes when Dexter returns. Clyde Phillips will also be returning as show runner.

A few details have also been leaked which reveal where the show is heading:

"10 years after Dexter Morgan went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura, the revival sees the character now living under an assumed name in a world away from Miami."

Production is set to begin filming in early 2021 and will debut in the fall. The show will be produced in partnership with Showtime!
