With Wonder Woman '84 releasing to HBO Max and limited theaters next week, DC Comics has announced a brand new comic book title that will hit the digital format in January and will be in print in March 2021. The new book, Sensational Wonder Woman will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the character right after she hits screens again. The new comic will feature stand alone stories that fall outside the existing DC and Wonder Woman continuity and will be written and inked by comics vets and new artists alike.
DC says that the first issue "Forget Me Not: Part 1" will be released digitally the first week of the new year on January 6th. The print copy will be available in comic book stores and retailers in March. The launch will see Diana do battle with Doctor Psycho with art by Meghan Hetrick and color from Marissa Louise. Harley Quinn writer Stephanie Philips is penning the story.
Long time characters like Steve Trevor, Cheetah, Wonder Girl and more will also be involved in this latest launch for Wonder Woman.
