Failure at Launch: Gamestop Offering Full Refunds on Cyberpunk 2077

What was going to be the biggest game of the year after several delays turned out to be a very problematic release. With numerous platforms including Sony and Microsoft offering full refunds for Cyberpunk 2077, Gamestop has now stepped up to the plate and says they will be doing the same. Due to in game problems, many have voiced complaints over the situation and are demanding their money back. The gaming company CD Projekt Red supports refunds as the game has also been pulled from digital purchase on some platforms as well. The PS4 and Xbox One versions seem to be having more problems than initially thought which in turn is making gamers want a full refund for their purchase of a product that was faulty from day one of launch.

The game has been pulled from the online Sony Playstation Store and Microsoft is also offering a refund on their digital marketplace. Gamestop will return all money for purchases of Cyberpunk 2077 and will mark returned copies as "defective". This is an unprecedented move for the gaming retailer as they usually do not do any type of returns for software.

We'll update as we hear more.
