It's that time again where we finally have a piece of news that isn't about something getting delayed by the Covid-19 crisis. While everything else is slowly starting to reopen, studios are developing and looking into whatever they can make when things get back to normal again. Yep, these stories will keep happening as the world tries to return to normal. This time, it's a big one. Ana De Armas will be reuniting with her Knives Out and Blade Runner 2049 co-stars Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling for the Russo Brothers next film for Netflix, The Gray Man

Based on the novel of the same name by Mark Greaney, the action thriller will follow Court Gentry (Gosling) as he’s hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former cohort of Gentry’s at the CIA. There is no word yet on who Ana De Armas is playing but we can imagine that it might involve some international espionage and shenanigans that will happen along the way.

The Russos have been developing the project for some time at Sony but it never went anywhere until this past summer where it was acquired by Netflix. Shortly after that, Gosling and Evans signed on to be apart of it. The film will be the biggest budget film in Netflix’s history on the feature side and is intended to be the start of a new franchise for the streamer. The Russos penned the script with a recent rewrite by frequent Marvel collaborators, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. There is not a release date set for the film but we imagine that cameras will be rolling sooner rather than later. We will keep you update on the film as time goes on.
