This is the way. Today it was announced that Disney+ will premiere a new episode of Disney Gallery on December 25th, Christmas Day. The special 'making of' show will be a two hour episode that will chronicle the production of season two of The Mandalorian. The new episode will premiere on the streaming outlet one week after the second set of episodes wraps up on Disney+. Last year we were given a full batch that chronicled the making of each and every episode of the first season. This year, they're dropping the two hour special the same day that Wonder Woman '84 premieres on HBO Max. So it's gonna be a great day for genre fans everywhere. We're looking forward to seeing the latest episode of Disney Gallery.
This special will look into the story choices, the way the directors handle the Star Wars Galaxy and will take a further dive into all behind the scenes aspects of the show. This will be an interesting episode as we'll probably get a deeper look at the use of legacy characters like Boba Fett, Ahsoka Tano, and Bo-Katan. It's always interesting to hear Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau discuss their love for the series but it will also be fascinating to see the hows and whys while we'll most likely get an interview with Robert Rodriguez.
