Today the key art for the upcoming third movie in the Skyline trilogy has been revealed via Screen Rant. The next adventure in the franchise moves further into the future and continues the battle between human and alien. Despite the first film being a critical and box office failure, it has a large following which helped it get a sequel called Beyond Skyline which released in 2017. The follow up featured Frank Grillo and action icon Iko Uwais (The Raid 1 and 2). The second movie was a direct to video release that sidestepped science fiction invasion for a more action-centric plot that saw humans doing hand to hand combat with the invaders. In all honesty, Beyond Skyline was a far better movie than its predecessor which has now spawned a third movie simply titled Skylines.
It will release in limited theaters and on demand on December 18th. It debuted at FrightFest in October. Check out the newly released poster below and make sure to check out the flick when it releases next week!
