The Universal classic monsters are a mainstay in the film universe. After decades, they're still revrered as some of the best ever created. They've spawned dozens of remakes, reboots and retreads. They're constantly revisited in the hopes of reinvigorating them for a new generation. Last year saw the reintroduction of The Invisible Man with an updated female led version. Even Universal was considering a full relaunch with a Dark Universe that was ill fated by the Tom Cruise starring Mummy remake.

Now YouTube has announced that the catalog of classic monsters will be coming to the internet streamer's channel Fear: The Home of Horror Channel. Beginning on January 15th iconic monsters like Dracula, The Mummy and Frankenstein will all be premiering with free access. They will be free for the first week with a discounted price for purchase available.

This is the full roster of films that will be hitting the channel:

Dracula (1931)

The Mummy (1932)

The Invisible Man (1933)

The Wolf Man (1941)

Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948)

There is still talk of more creature reboots coming to Universal. This may help in their push to gain more interest in modernizing their catalog of characters with more modern takes.
