Disappointment Blvd: A24 to Release Ari Aster's Latest Film Starring Joaquin Phoenix

 

Ever since the one-two punch of Hereditary and Midsommar, film fans have been chomping at the bits to hear what Ari Aster's next project will be. While we have heard rumblings about new projects over the last year, there has been nothing concrete about what was coming. Until now. 

Trade sites have revealed that A24 will reteam with Ari Aster to finance and to produce a new film called Disappointment Blvd. And Aster is not alone. Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix will be joining the film as his first post Oscar project.  

There isn't much known about what the film will be about. Folks around the project describe the plot as “an intimate, decades-spanning portrait of one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time.” There is no word yet on when the film will shoot but it will definitely be before Joaquin plays Napoleon for Ridley Scott.
