Production Value!!!!: Super 8 Coming To 4K Ultra For Its 10th Anniversary

Long before JJ Abrams got his hands on Star Trek and Star Wars, he was busy doing his best to recreate the Spielberg '80s aesthetic with his science fiction/horror flick Super 8

And years before Stranger Things was even an idea, Abrams really did his best to try and recapture an earlier decade where kids rode bikes, hung out, and attempted to be social in real life. With a small budget of only $50 million, the Abrams project went on to gross $260 million worldwide with $127 million from domestic receipts alone. 

Now, for its ten year anniversary, Super 8 will finally be premiering in a new 4k home release in May. The package will hit the home video market on May 25th and will feature a ton of previously released special features. Check out the rundown here:
