This week has been a lot of good news for fans of Paramount and their intellectual properties. We've learned about new shows, movies, and so much more. And the ride isn't over yet. Autobots roll out, there is a new animated Transformers series on the way.

Yes, another animated Transformers series is coming. Nickelodeon and Hasbro’s Entertainment One are teaming up to produce at least twenty-six half-hour episodes. The show is described as an action-comedy about a new group of Transformers trying to find their place in world full of Autobots, Decepticons, and the humans they befriend along the way. The new series will be produced by Ant Ward and Nicole Dubuc, who have been involved with previous Transformers and Ninja Turtles shows for the network and Hasbro.

Hasbro launched the Transformers property in 1984 and it has been a pop culture staple ever since with various shows, toys, movies, comics, and games spawning because of it. With this move by Nickelodeon and the various children shows they announced yesterday for Paramount+, Nickelodeon is pushing back at Disney's dominance as being the home of the biggest franchises for kids and families. We have no word yet on when the show will air but we imagine that they are fast tracking it.
