Is It Really So Strange?: Chiwetel Ejiofor Begins Filming on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

It appears that things are really beginning to get back to normal, well at least a little stranger. Movies are finally getting back underway as safely as possible as the pandemic begins to see signs of easing up on the global population. As vaccines make their way into more and more folks, entertainment will begin to boom again. Now it's been revealed that Chiwetel Ejiofor has started filming his scenes for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in an undisclosed location. The film has already been delayed twice due to the health crisis but is finally seeing positive momentum.

Ejiofor joins returning cast members Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams and Benedict Wong on the upcoming sequel. Not much is known at this time about the plot for the sequel. Some believe that Ejiofor's character, Karl Mordo may be an antagonist in the film. Yet, that's just speculation at this point. Things have been very tight lipped regarding the project up until now.

Sam Raimi is heading the movie, so we're sure it'll be interesting to see where he goes with it. His filming style will work extremely well with the continued adventures of Doctor Strange. After the events of WandaVision, this sequel will continue building on the Wanda Maximoff story.

When speaking with the BBC's The One Show, Ejiofor commented:

"I'm shooting Doctor Strange. It's very exciting and I'm looking forward to that. I'm in an undisclosed location at the time".
