It seems like every other week, we have a new Ryan Murphy project announced or coming out. This week is no exception to the rule. From superhero sitcom crasher to prolific serial killer, Evan Peters has once again found himself in the Ryan Murphy fold. Netflix has confirmed that Peters will star as Jeffrey Dahmer in Murphy's new Netflix miniseries, Monster

Peters is just one part of the talented ensemble being assembled for the show. Niecy Nash will be in the show as a neighbor who alerts the police to Dahmer's behavior but is dismissed by the police. Richard Jenkins and and Penelope Ann Miller will appear in the show as Dahmer's parents.

The show will focus on the police incompetence and apathy that allowed Dahmer to maintain his violent killing spree for more than two decades, in which he killed 17 male victims. The series will also document the ten times that he was apprehended but not prosecuted for his crimes.

Monster is co-created and executive produced by longtime collaborators Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan with Carl Franklin and Janet Mock set as writers and directors. This will be another part of Murphy's massive overall deal at Netflix and will be coming sooner rather than later.
