More Than Meets The Eye: Dominique Fishback To Star in Next Transformers Movie

The next Transformers movie is currently being readied. With Creed II director Steven Caple Jr. helming the film few details are currently known but it may continue on from the Bumblebee movie which served as a soft reboot for the entire franchise. After multiple sequels in the Michael Bay series, the Transformers were given a new start when Bumblebee premiered in theaters a couple years ago. Now they're readying the next movie which will supposedly carry on from those story threads. It was a welcome change after the Bay series went off the rails when Mark Wahlberg took over as the lead actor.

It's recently been announced that Judas and the Black Messiah breakout star Dominique Fishback is in final negotiations to star in Caple's upcoming Transformers project. They'll be working from a screenplay by writer Joby Harold. Hamilton's Anthony Rios is also expected to star in the movie alongside Fishback.

In other Transformers news, they're also doing another movie which will break off from the current timeline. That will be directed by Angel Manuel Soto. They're also developing a new animated movie that's being directed by Toy Story 4 director, Josh Cooley.
