It's been a long time in the making, but James Gunn's The Suicide Squad is getting nearer to its cinematic release. After a rather lackluster launch for the team up in David Ayer's 2016 movie, many of the characters are returning for a sequel of sorts that gives them another chance at theatrical glory. Just released today from Gunn's Instagram account, a new image dropped that includes the quote, "Squad Undercover in Corto Maltese: Ratcatcher 2, The Thinker, Bloodsport, and Polka Dot Man in The Suicide Squad".
The upcoming movie features John Cena, Idris Elba, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Taika Waititi, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, Peter Capaldi, Jai Courtney, Sylvester Stallone and numerous others in a more colorful take on the DC branded comic book characters.
