We Are The Ghosts That Hide in the Night: Stallone Teases The Expendables 4

In 2010, Sylvester Stallone launched a brand new franchise that saw numerous action icons come together under one roof. The movie was a hit for Stallone and all involved which ended up spawning two sequels. After a disastrous pirate leak and a lower box office, the series was put on the shelf since The Expendables 3. Adding to the movie's troubles was a PG-13 rating that took away from the violence of the previous two films' R rating and harder edged action scenes.

Stallone has often teased that the series would make a comeback. Never one to let a character die, Sly looks to be attempting the return of his character Barney Ross in The Expendables 4, which still has no production start or release date slated. However, he posted a photo to social media that shows a new ring that's  been designed for the movie.

Currently, it does have an IMDB listing with writers attached to the project. So, we might finally be seeing some momentum for part 4.
Over the past 4-5 years, Stallone has taken to social media to promote various projects including Creed II and the last Rambo movie.
