You Shall Remember This Victory Forever: Dungeons And Dragons Movie Completes Production

Just a short time ago it was announced that Dungeons and Dragons would once again be translated to a live action film. Well, it appears that production has been completed on the latest reboot of the tabletop role play game. The first film was released in 2000 and was a financial failure and critical bomb but it looks like they're giving it another shot with a new movie that stars Chris Pine, Hugh Grant, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith and several more. The movie was in the filming stages for the last four months. Now it heads into editing as co-writer and producer John Francis Daley posted to his Twitter that they've officially wrapped on set.

Dungeons and Dragons initially hit store shelves in the '70s and was a major hit. Since launch, the game has kept an extremely strong following and is the influence for hundreds of other role playing games and was also a major creative factor in the creation of Stranger Things.

No plot details have been released for the film yet but we're pretty sure there will be swords, wizards, dragons and plenty of dungeons. It's said that this latest iteration will feature a large amount of practical effect shots instead of the CGI laden villainy of the last couple D&D movies. We look forward to seeing what they have in store for us.
