While audiences have gotten to know Hayley Atwell from The Pillars of the Earth and her role as the beloved Agent Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, audiences noticed on Marvel's What If that Atwell is just as talented as a voice actor. And it turns out audiences weren't the only one watching Atwell flex her vocal talents.
Netflix announced today that Atwell be the new voice of the iconic video game character Lara Croft in a new animated series for the streaming service. The currently untitled series will be a co-production between Legendary Entertainment and Netflix. The show is confirmed to be set in the same continuity as the most recent trilogy of Tomb Raider games. The series will continue the story established in those games.
There is no word yet on who else is a part of the series or when it will come out. But Atwell fans will be relived to know that they won't have to wait too long to see her again on their screens. She will be popping up on What If again and will appear in the next Mission: Impossible film next year.
