Disney continues to roll out their televised Star Wars programs with the upcoming prequel show to Rogue One. The latest entry, Andor will chronicle the Rebel leader before the events of the movie. Diego Luna revealed that the show has officially wrapped production and will now head to post. It will also feature the return of Genevieve O'Reilly as Mon Mothma and Forest Whitaker as Saw Garrera. All other character and story details are being kept under wraps to not spoil the event series on Disney+.

Initially it was announced that Alan Tudyk would be returning as K-2SO but was later revealed that he will not be a featured character during what some assume might be a multi-season series. Tudyk said,"It's just that the story that Tony Gilroy is telling doesn't involve K-2SO until later on".

During an interview for Pan Y Circo, the Amazon series which he's involved in, Luna revealed to Deadline that production on Andor was finished. The show is set to appear on the streaming outlet in 2022 with 12 episodes.
