As work continues on his next film release, Nope which will release in July 2022, director and creator Jordan Peele's production company has signed a 2 year development deal with the television arm of Universal Pictures. This comes hot on the heels of a previous deal with Amazon. The firm will now be producing exclusive content for the Universal Studio Group with a first look being granted to the production house.

Peele is partnered with Win Rosenfeld at Monkeypaw and they will be attempting to bring new content to the televised and streaming arm of the studio. There are currently no upcoming titles that have been announced at this time. But we're eager to hear about any new fresh horror or genre projects that will come out of the deal.

Peele's recent foray into the world of television didn't last long. His relaunch of The Twilight Zone was cancelled after only two seasons and was both a critical and ratings disaster. With the release of Get Out and Us, Peele was almost instantly labeled a visionary director and has been granted much creative freedom to do what he wants. We look forward to this team up.
