Hot off the success of A Quiet Place II, there has been an announcement that there is a new video game being released in 2022 that's based on the movies. Saber Interactive, iLLOGIKA Studios, EP1T0ME Studios and Paramount Pictures have teamed for the game that will further expand the world of A Quiet Place beyond the films. No release information has been announced about what platforms the game will be for but it is in the early developmental phases. Hopefully we'll know more soon. Details are very light right now.
However, a new website was launched today that says it will be an "untold story of survival" in the film universe. iLLOGIKA helped out with support work on Cuphead and helped out with port work on Lara Croft Go and SpiritFarer. Their creative director Herve Sliwa had this to say about the game:
“The A Quiet Place video game will let fans experience the tension of the films with a level of immersion they’ve never felt before,” said Sliwa. “We’re excited to work with EP1T0ME and to team up with Saber Interactive to share this unique vision of hope and horror with players everywhere in the future.”
We're currently hoping that the game is turned into a VR experience type title. But we'll just have to wait and see.
