Universal Studios Classic Monsters have taken over the toy shelves this year as plenty of product has been making its way to collectors, fans, and children of all ages! The 90th anniversary of the original ‘Frankenstein’ is this year and with it, a crossover made itself known.
NECA continues its ’31 Nights of Fright’ event by launching the new line of Universal Studios x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures revealing Raphael as Frankenstein’s Monster! The iconic flat-top dome upon Raph’s head clearly shows what they were going for with this homage. Steampunk gauges, stitches, worn-out clothing, and even a sewer-cover lid attached to his shell, this crime against humanity and the divine is in the truest sense of the word, awesome! The bulky two-toed boots and bolts in the neck and ankles finish off his look with style. This 7-inch scale figure will come in collector-friendly window box packaging along with a metal chain, 3 sets of interchangeable hands, and two lightning bolt sai.
Pre-orders should come soon with an estimated time of January 2022 for release. The rest of the wave should prove interesting with the variety that TMNT can bring to these classic silver-screen icons!
