The season of horror movie-inspired figures is upon us and now NECA is bringing another assortment of their Toony Terrors for this year’s ‘31 Nights of Fright’ event.
This wave brings the Mad Doctor Ratch…I mean, Herbert West from the Re-Animator, complete with syringe of Re-Agent and Dr. Hill’s head in a pan! Then the masked miner from My Bloody Valentine makes his presence known with a pickaxe and a heart-shaped box. Next, Captain Blake arrives with little warning brandishing a cutlass and an accusatory pose! The legendary Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, rounds out the wave giving a shocked look in her iconic outfit with a bejeweled dagger across her waist!
Each figure comes in blister card packaging with the characters name across a marquee and a movie theater façade behind them under the Toony Terrors logo. But don’t toss that packaging just yet, as each one has a movie specific backdrop on the reverse side of the card. These 6-inch scale figures have a few points of articulation depending on the character and are great for those who love a bit of cartoony look to their horror icons. The figures separately run about $14.99 USD or $59.99 for the wave at most online stores and major retailers.
