Prisoners of the Ghostland: Nic Cage and Sion Sono's Latest to Stream on Shudder And AMC+ Exclusively This November

Sion Sono's latest film, Prisoners of the Ghostland starring Nicolas Cage is getting the streaming treatment this coming November. The strange and surreal feature will be premiering on Shudder and AMC+ beginning on November 19th. The film made its premiere this year at Sundance and had a limited theatrical run and paid streaming rental release. It will now be coming to both of those aforementioned services as part of their membership package. The announcement was just made this morning that the film will be coming to those outlets. 

Prisoners of the Ghostland stars Nicolas Cage, Sofia Boutella, Nick Cassvetes, Bill Moseley,  Tak Sakaguchi, Yuzuka Nakaya, and several others. Although it had a mixed critical response, the movie was considered a success in its limited circuit run. This was the English language premiere for director Sion Sono. 

Cage recently described the film, "It's out there. I wear a skintight black leather jumpsuit with grenades attached to different body parts, and if I don't rescue the governor's daughter from this state line where they're all ghosts and bring her back, they're gonna blow me up."
