You would be hard pressed to find anything more iconic of the Halloween season, or the horror genre in general, than the Universal Studios line-up of monsters. Instantly recognizable from their source material, they have become a mainstay of pop culture for generations.
Jada Toys launches their line of Universal Studios Monsters with its most iconic four figures. The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Frankenstein’s Monster, the Bride of Frankenstein, and Dracula all look well-painted and appropriately articulated in the six-inch scale. Each figure comes with a swappable alternate head, two sets of swappable hands, and character specific accessories. The Creature comes with a harpoon gun and net, while Dracula comes with a bat, a holdable candle, and a fabric cape. Frankenstein’s Monster comes with two sets of shackles with a chain joining each pair. The Bride however comes with two poles with chains and cloth wrappings attached. Individually, these are available for preorder on most online sites and should also hit retail shelves as well this October for $24.99 USD each.
Jada Toys has also launched its direct-to-customer site Next Level with a Universal Studios Monsters exclusive! This black and white version of Frankenstein’s Monster comes with his iconic laboratory table, capable of tilting upright for multiple display options. All the original versions accessories are here plus a cloth to cover him, restraining straps, and two flexible cables to connect to his neck bolts! This exclusive is up for preorder now on their Next Level site for $40 USD and should begin shipping December 1, 2021. Stay spooky, folks!
