With Ghostbusters:Afterlife right around the corner now, Ernie Hudson has teased a fourth movie in the series (not counting the Paul Feig reboot). Although it's been decades since Ghostbusters II, nostalgia has given the franchise new life in the upcoming sequel that will feature a younger crew along with cameos from the original cast. Reviews have been mixed saying that Jason Reitman's new movie is either too heavy and pandering in the nostalgia department or that it's a fun filled revisit to a long dead property that needed a fresh dose of young blood. Either way, the film is hitting theaters on November 11 and will undoubtedly be a major hit for the studio.
Now, co-star Ernie Hudson says that this probably won't be it. We're not shocked in the least since this thing has been sitting idle for a while. He recently said that they're readying a third sequel. When speaking on Jake's Takes promoting the third season of The Family Business, he commented, "If they threw it at me, I'd be honored to do it.", he added "I've heard rumors they're writing a new one, so we'll see.
His character Winston Zeddemore is expected to make an appearance in Afterlife. We're not sure how we feel about the team coming together again with the absence of Harold Ramis, but we'll definitely give the new one a shot.
