Set to premiere December 29th, 2021 on the Disney+ streaming service, ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ looks to be a promising spin-off to ‘The Mandalorian’ series. Rest assured; the merchandise is on its way!
For the Black Series collector and 6-inch scale fan, Boba Fett (Tython), Fennec Shand, and Bib Fortuna first runs have made it onto the shelves. Most preorder pages estimate the next arrival by July 2022, but the holidays and international shipping could always factor into those time frames. If you’re wanting Boba Fett in his reclaimed armor, the Boba Fett (Throne Room) version is the way to go! The Tython version depicts Boba as he appeared in ‘The Mandalorian’ with a soft goods cloak, pistol, rifle, and Gaffi stick. Boba’s Throne Room version comes in his reclaimed armor with a fresh coat of paint, a swappable helmeted head, rifle, blaster, and Z-6 jetpack. Fennec Shand will include a removable helmet and her signature MK sniper rifle. Bib Fortuna seems to come with a few handheld accessories though the details on what they are seem scarce.
Going to the Vintage Collection for your 3.75-inch scale figures, both Fennec and Boba are up for preorder with some great packaging to boot. Boba Fett (Tatooine) comes in a classic Kenner-inspired package with a removable helmet, blaster, rifle, two damaged Stormtrooper helmets, and blast effects parts for his jetpack. Fennec will come in a classic Kenner bubble package and has both a sniper and regular rifle, removable helmet, and a bright blue jug of Spatchka!
To top all this off (pun intended), preorders for Bo-Katan Kryze’s Premium Electronic helmet will go up on the 15th of December, along with the Vintage Collection figures. The helmet has a detailed interior, a drop-down range finder with accompanying LED lights and illuminated heads up display. Retailing for $124.99 USD, this will put you in the headspace of one of Mandalore’s greatest warriors! All these are up for preorder at most online collectible stores. Collect your bounty!
