Nope: Jordan Peele's Latest Horror Film Completes Production

Hot on the heels of the confirmation of Oscar nominated cinematographer, Hoyt Van Hoytema's involvement in the feature film, word has dropped that Jordan Peele's latest has officially completed production. The upcoming horror/thriller hybrid is being readied for a release on July 22, 2022 where it has a full weekend clear of any other major studio competition. However, it will see a stiff battle against Thor:Love & Thunder and Black Adam both releasing in the same month.

The film is both written and directed by Jordan Peele, who was the mastermind being both Get Out and Us. Over the last couple years, Peele has been involved in other genre projects like the Twilight Zone reboot and this year's Candyman in a producer role.

Nope will be Peele's return to modern horror which is a production of his Monkeypaw Productions in partnership with Universal Pictures. Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out) returns to star in the feature with support from Keke Palmer and Steven Yeun.

Details of Nope are still under wraps at this time but we'll update as we hear more.
