About two months ago it was announced that Showtime had placed a full season order for its new adaptation of the vampire film, Let The Right One In. The foreign film which gained a large cult following will be turned into a new series that has already cast actor Demian Bichir and Madison Taylor Baez as the central characters for the show. It is fully inspired by the Swedish horror movie that tells of a teenage vampire and her father figure as they attempt to hide her taste for blood and her immortality. The upcoming project is executive produced by Homeland's Andrew Hinderaker with Seith Mann heading up the series pilot.

It's now been announced that Carnivale and Terminator 3 actor Nick Stahl will be taking up a central role in the series and will portray the character of Matthew, "a former soldier and loyal fixer for the Logan family". Stahl had left the limelight for quite some time after his personal demons got the best of him. However, he seems to be attempting a comeback via television. He was recently featured as a side character on Animal Kingdom and will now be part of the Let The Right One in series for Showtime.
