Rodan’s new appearance more closely resembles that of a Pteranodon with some aggressive and colorful additions. This continuity also gives Rodan three Forms as well as the creature being not just one monster but a whole flock of the flying beasties. Bandai Tamashii Nations released images of Rodan Second Form in anticipation of the preorder. The wing articulation grants the figure multiple flying poses, as well as its four-legged terrestrial stance. A flight stand is included with several smaller Rodan Second Forms and wire mounts stemming from the stand to pose them. The smaller Rodans seem to be single pieces with no articulation, but it is easy to see this being a great troop-builder in a display.
No preorders yet but this should be a Tamashii Web exclusive so Premium Bandai’s site would be your source for this monster. Japanese retail is 4500 Yen or $43 USD, and it should be released in June of 2022.
