Be Mindful of Your Thoughts: Obi-Wan Date Shifts, Two Episode Premiere Announced

It looks like the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series has been pushed back by a couple days. Today, Disney+ announced that the series would be moved from May 25th (the anniversary of the first Star Wars film) to May 27th. While the news may annoy some, they'll also be pleased to find out that the premiere will now feature two full length episodes instead of one as they had initially announced. There was no reason posted as to why the shift took place, but we're happy to hear it's still coming up quickly. We've all grown very tired of delays at this point.

The series sees Ewan McGregor return to the role of Obi-Wan as he hides out on Tatooine ten years after the events of Revenge of the Sith. The show will see him hiding from the Inquisitors that are on the hunt for surviving Jedi Knights, a plot directly from the animated series. The event series is directed by Deborah Chow from scripts by Joby Harold.
